1 Arrested at Khalistan Protest in NY, Flagpoles Confiscated, Protesters Forced to Relocate

In stark contrast to Canadian police enforcement, Nassau County Police in New York went as far as confiscating wooden flag poles from Khalistan separatists.

Unlike in Canada, I did not witness any swords or spears being wielded, nor were there any flags being burned or effigies being lynched with kirpans and chains.

The group raised slogans glorifying the assassins of India's late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who was assassinated in 1984, and the suicide bomber responsible for killing Punjab’s Chief Minister Beant Singh in 1995, an attack that killed 17 people and injured 15 others.
