After being arrested by Calgary Police for "breaching the peace" and escorted into the back of a police van, the handcuffed man asked, "Holding a demonstration celebrating the murder of women and children, that's not a breach of the peace?"

In the wake of the attacks on Israel, demonstrations expressing both condemnation and support for the violence occurred globally.

In Calgary, Alberta, hundreds of Hamas supporters assembled, chanting slogans such as "Justin Trudeau, you will see, Palestine will be free" and "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free."

The man was taken to the police station after his rights were read to him, and the demonstrations continued without interruption under heavy police presence.
