Despite frigid temperatures, dozens of Albertans gathered at the legislature in Edmonton to honor the victims—some of whom were their family members or friends—and to call for justice.
I approached a man quietly standing among the crowd, holding a picture of a young teenager. Curious, I asked about the photo. "His dad found him on the ground dead just weeks after his Pfizer serum. Dan (X/@Answers4Sean) is currently in a battle with Pfizer in a lawsuit," he answered, prompting me to ask if some accountability might happen with the Trump administration.
"We are all hoping for that. At least with RFK Jr., these big companies can finally get hit. But there is a lot of talk, and people wanna see the walk," he responded.
I also spoke with former hockey player Theo Fleury who came out in support of the event.
