Trial by jury is set to begin tomorrow for the two men who have been held in remand for over 840 days on charges of conspiracy to murder RCMP officers during the anti-COVID mandates protest in Coutts, Alberta.
Following the release of the other two accused a few months ago in a plea deal that dropped the conspiracy charge, advocates believe that the government has exaggerated the conspiracy charge and recognize the remaining men as political prisoners.
